The pictures on this thread will be somewhat random as it's a thread not a forum of threads. To see my start to present pics you might want to visit my threads here and on the archive. For now though this will be the gathering place.

building a system from the ground up to me is very important, this way I can achieve absolute resolution

I know, your use to seeing stacks and stacks of high end equipment. Trust me I was there. Owned 5 high end audio stores and every combo known to the audiophile almost. When I learned to tune the audio signal this all changed.

I found that true high end audio reproduction comes through simplicity and tuning the three parts of audio to work in harmony.

electrical

mechanical

acoustical

To understand my personal systems it's important to see the work in progress. Here's a short look into my personal world in one of my locations.

Was at the GURU's home this weekend. Not sure how welcome I was and feel bad about showing up unexpected. The discomfort left though when I entered the room, one of three. Words don't describe. In my mind I was picturing this was going to be another audiophile system and audiophile sound. What I heard was far beyond where I thought this hobby could go. If there was ever holy ground in this hobby I've walked on it.

Thank you Mr. Green Exclamation

Laughing No problem, I was just in the zone. I think Harold and I need to work toward that open house type of setting, but that will take time. Sorry for the mess, glad you had a good time Smile
