We can design and build studios but getting engineers to do something meaningful is another story. When we did our test recordings things sounded wonderful, but unless engineers learn to use tools properly, well.......same story as the audiophiles I'm afraid. I would imagine though that he was just getting the phone out of the way for the picture.

The system is a stereo 2.2 setup and 5.1 (you can't see the middle monitor in the pic in the pictorial). The speakers are Studio 5's and SW10's, and the amps are MA700's. The studio is setup for farfield, nearfield and Headphone mixing. The monitors are sitting on the spikes.
This studio is used for all the above but it also is wired to the rest of the facility that has different live, control and mastering rooms.
