The Recorded Code, or not? Empty

hello TuneLand

I've spent the last little while reading some of the magazines and forums, and it has become more and more clear that High End Audio for a major part at least, doesn't know that recordings have a recorded code.

Have I been assuming all this time that listeners knew the reason their systems love some music and reject others, is because they are either in or out of tune with each particular recording?

The longer I'm on Stereophile, I'm seeing that most listeners believe they don't have to tune in recordings to get the most out of them. I have to work my way through this a little more because it's actually blowing that mind a little. Has the audiophile moved that far away from recordings?

Here I am puting on different recordings and enjoying them on a particular setting or I tune them in to closer to their code or I even go somewhere else alltogether, and I'm thinking everyone does this, but now I'm thinking maybe the audiophile has moved completely away from how playback even works. Is it true that they can be setting their systems to one sound and playing everything through that one sound whether it matches the recording or not?

I put up this post (thread) not long ago, and have watched how many have read and more interesting that no-one has responded.

I'm not begging for a response mind you, but I am wondering if this topic is being possibly brought up for the first time. If this is the case I will be somewhat shocked, but more surprised that the high end audio part of this industry has left on the table the most important part.

Again, I'm shaking my head a little wondering if the hobby leaders maybe don't even know that there are recorded codes?

How could this have possibly happened? How could a whole wing of a hobby go off the path so far as to not understand the very basic principle that makes this all work? I'm repeating myself I know, but I'm starting to believe that this whole discrete thing has single handly fooled both the hobbyist and reviewer into a falsehood belief that systems playback recordings automatically. This is scary to me on one hand and on the other, can you imagine the rush to tuning when the truth is let out of the bag Laughing

I'm thinking I need to put a lot more focus on the belief in the audio code, and not just how to tune it.

please read https://tuneland.forumotion.com/t268-the-audio-code and if there are questions about this, lets talk. very interesting isn't it study
