Hi TuneLand

We are getting ready for the 2011 Show where we will have over 100 products on display. This is the most coverage we have done since the 90s and we're excited to say the least.

I wish to thank ahead of time Richard Beers (president of T.H.E. Show) for allowing us to facilitate so many great rooms at The Flamingo.

Hi Michael

Hey can you show a close up of the new wood and rod legs you are using for the Deco Tunes, DRTs and PZCs in current production?

How do you level the panel so it doesn't rock and won't just having wood blocks resting on the floor give a less effective grounding path than MTDs (cones) or Harmonic Feet? You'll see from my thread that I am getting to use the grounding power of MTDs and Harmonic Feet and they work well. What's the new approach and thinking with the wood and rods?

There will be a lot more pictures after the show but here's the basics. The Stand is designed like a Rack or Canopy, taking the energy from the Tune and moving it to ground with variable adjustability. There is one rod per side that acts as a clamp for the tune (the cross clamp boards do not touch the ground) and a transfer for the feet. The basic stand does not come with spikes but 1/4 20 spikes are an option.

To answer your question about production, we are re-doing the line up. There will be PZCs and other Floorstanders. The continuing of the DRT will depend on the DecoTune and perhaps the Select FloorStander. My bet is that the DecoTune will be the replacement for the DRT.

I feel that the DecoTune gives an added dimension to the Tune. The DecoTune is like a jazzed up DRT with the treated front panel.

All the best for T.H.E. Show 2011. You're hitting your stride and I hope soon the new MG Tune will so surpass the earlier one that it becomes a distant memory.
